Please help, I just started using IRC chat and using recycled-irc. I set up my options and channels, and when I finally used my mIRC for the first time (after having set up my options), this is what I saw:

Can someone please lift my ban, explain to me what happened, and give me advice on preventing this from happening again? Thanks!

I assure you it is not your fault. By "clone" we mean some bots who are not people, but they are controlled by someone else. It's forbidden on the network for some reasons I'm sure you'll understand, such as flooding, spamming and idling. These bots used the range *.dc.dc.cox.net like you, so you were a victim. There is nothing to do.

Well, the ban is lifted and I hope it helps. If you have any question, please free to ask. We apologize for this, by the way. :)
